Product Description
Polymaker Fiberon PA6-CF20 is a carbon fiber reinforced PA6 filament for technical FDM/FFF applications. The material is designed for components where high stiffness, good dimensional stability, and resilient mechanical properties are required.
Due to its carbon fiber content, PA6-CF20 is particularly suitable for functional prototypes, fixtures, technical mounts, and resilient components. The material is aimed at experienced users and printers with a suitable hotend.
Polymaker recommends an all-metal hotend with at least 280 °C, a hardened nozzle, filament drying, and appropriate post-treatment of the finished part for this material. Due to the carbon fiber content, the filament is abrasive.
PA6 is hygroscopic. The filament should be stored dry and, if it absorbs moisture, dried before printing in a suitable drying device or filament dryer.
