The material is intended for components where stiffness, dimensional stability and lower moisture sensitivity are required compared to many PA6-based materials.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eDue to the carbon fiber content, PA12-CF10 is suitable for functional prototypes, fixtures, brackets, technical components and load-bearing parts. The carbon fiber reinforcement increases stiffness, but also makes the filament abrasive.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eA hardened nozzle is recommended for processing. The filament should be stored dry and, if moisture is absorbed, dried in a suitable filament dryer or drying device before printing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eFor higher heat resistance, Polymaker also describes a post-treatment of the printed component.
